Congratulations to Josh Gordon. Not only does he have the elite status of being on my fantasy football team, but he will be playing against the Los Angeles Charges this Sunday.
This is significant because Josh has not played a regular season NFL game in awhile. Since December of 2014 to be exact. Josh had a long history with substance abuse which caused him to be suspended multiple times (https://www.gq.com/story/josh-gordon-nfl-2017-interview). As any addict knows, the disease is never gone, but it can be treated with diligence and the proper tools.
Josh has come a long way in acknowledging and dealing with his issues and I hope he does well, not just for his own sake, but for that of my fantasy team.
So, here's to Josh "Flash" Gordon.
